CHADRON, Neb. – After trailing for most of the game, the University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's basketball team edged Chadron State on the road Saturday night, 74-70.
The Mountain Lions took the lead for good with 34 seconds remaining after going on a lengthy 21-4 run, which included a dominating 16-0 that lasted nearly four and a half minutes.

Elijah Ross led with 17 points, just missing out on a triple double with nine rebounds and nine assists.
Justin Smith chipped in 15 points after going 7 of 11 from the field while being active on the defensive side of the ball with two steals and a blocked shot.
Dalton Walker continued his strong play with 12 points for the Mountain Lions.
The win put the team's record at 12-13 overall and 9-10 in the RMAC.
UCCS is off until Saturday when they return home to take on MSU Denver at 7:30 p.m. Before next week's contest, fans will have a chance to celebrate the retirement of Derrick White's jersey number 14 in a special pre-game ceremony.
