COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's basketball team struggled with turnovers as they dropped a home matchup against Regis University 54-44 at Gallogly Events Center.

Emily Seifert coming off the bench to tally seven points, as
Kelly O'Flannigan played a team high 32 minutes for the Mountain Lions
Turnovers hurt UCCS throughout the game as they ended with 25 compared to the Rangers' 14. Down the stretch, Regis recorded 22 points off the Mountain Lion turnovers.
The Mountain Lions out-rebounded Regis 41-36 but struggled to grab momentum as they trailed the Rangers for a majority of the game. Regis strung together an 18-0 run in the latter part of the first quarter and into the second quarter that gave Regis the lead 25-10, as they held onto that lead for the remainder of the game.
UCCS will look to bounce back tomorrow afternoon at 1 p.m. as they take on Colorado Christian University at Gallogly Events Center for a home match-up.
