Alex VonHolle has been selected to the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-District VI Men's Soccer Team, announced today by College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
The 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by CoSIDA, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team (if necessary) Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.

Alex VonHolle holds a 3.76 GPA as a Business major in his junior year. In the 2018 season, VonHolle was the leading offensive threat starting in all 19 matches for the Mountain Lions. The midfielder ranks second in the conference in assists (9) and points (37) while netting 14 goals which ties for second most in the conference. Earning 2018 All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) First Team and 2018 RMAC All-Academic First Team honors, VonHolle set a new single season program record in assists and points during the 2018 season.
The Google Cloud Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed in links provided above and are divided into eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada. The Division II and III Google Cloud Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2018-19 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA Google Cloud Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
