With five league matches left on the calendar, the Mountain Lions are tied for sixth place with Colorado Christian University in the conference standings.  Both teams split with each other, 3-1, during the regular season series.

Colorado School of Mines leads the 16-team conference with a 12-1 RMAC record (16-3).

SCOUTING THE EAGLES
Chadron State is on a two-match win streak and undefeated at home in their last four matches. Currently 7-14 (5-7 RMAC), they sit in ninth place in the RMAC and will be looking to make a push for RMAC tournament qualification. Last time out, they were victorious over CSU-Pueblo 3-1 and 3-2 over New Mexico Highlands University.

Defensively as a team, the Eagles are letting their opponents hit a league high 0.235 percent, while allowing the second most assists (13.14), kills (13.83), and service aces (1.6) per set. Additionally, they rank fourth in the RMAC with 16.43 digs per set.

Aracely Hernandez leads the team with 214 kills, 232 points and 778 total attacks. Brooke Gardner ranks second on the team in these categories with 202 kills, 208 points and 594 total attacks. Serving the ball, Karli Noble sets the tone with her team leading 18 service aces but also 25 serving errors.

SCOUTING THE ROADRUNNERS
MSU Denver enters the week unbeaten in their last six matches with their last five wins being won in three sets. Overall, they are 14-6 (10-2 RMAC). Last weekend they defeated New Mexico Highlands University and CSU-Pueblo in a sweeping fashion.

The Roadrunners rank among the top four in the RMAC in nearly every major category. They are fourth as a team with a .222 hitting percentage. They place third in opponents hitting percentage (.141), assists (12.71), kills (13.59), and blocks (2.06) per set.

Alyssa Kelling sets the pace for the team with a 0.301 hitting percentage placing her among the top 10 in the RMAC. Taylor Durea and Santaisha Sturges form a solid one-two punch with 3.39 and 3.10 kills per set. With 22 service aces and 0.31 per set, Durea is also setting tone as a server, good for another top 10 ranking among the RMAC leaderboards. Kelling has been teaming up with Stephane Laraway to make stops defensively as the duo are both averaging 0.87 blocks per set. Consistently keeping sets alive, Lyric Hebert gets 4.51 digs per set. Outside of the RMAC top 10, MSU Denver has other major contributors.
