DURANGO, Colo. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's basketball team fell to No. 14 Fort Lewis Saturday night on the road, 69-57.
After trailing by 17 points at the half, the Mountain Lions scored 23 points in the third quarter to make is nine-point deficit. However, the nationally-ranked Skyhawks would extend their lead to as much as 18 in the fourth en route to their 15
th win of the season.
Shanah Leaf paced UCCS with her 11 points as
Tatum Tellin and
Maddie Golla each added eight points.
The Mountain Lions fell to 3-6 in the RMAC and 3-11 overall as they return home next Friday when they host New Mexico Highlands at 5:30 p.m.
