COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's basketball team fell at home to Colorado Mesa, 54-46, Saturday evening which snapped their three-game winning streak.
UCCS led by as much as seven points early on in the first quarter, but the visiting Mavericks used a 13-0 run in the same period and never looked backed.
Lauren Bennett paced the Mountain Lions with 12 points after shooting 50 percent from the field and a perfect 4 of 4 performance at the line.

Tatum Tellin added nine points and seven rebounds in the setback as
Maddie Golla chipped in eight points.
The loss puts UCCS at 6-12 overall and 6-7 in the RMAC as they are back in action this coming Tuesday when the visit MSU Denver.
