COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's basketball team earned their second win of the week as they cruised to a 90-68 win at home over Colorado Mesa Saturday night.
UCCS was led by
Elijah Ross, who finished just two assists shy of a triple-double with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists on the night. Ross was 6 of 9 from the field, 3 for 3 from deep, and 7 of 8 from the free-throw line.
The Mountain Lions led from start to finish after starting the game with a 9-0 run.
Isaiah Wilson, a freshman, added 16 points as
Dalton Walker came off the bench to add 15 points.
As a team, UCCS shot a remarkable 59.2 percent from the field and 59.1 percent from beyond the arc.
The win their record to 8-11 overall and 5-8 in RMAC play as they are back in action this coming Tuesday when they visit MSU Denver. The 7:30 p.m. will air live on CET Sports.
