COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's basketball kept their winning streak alive with a 47-41 win at home against Western State on Friday.
The Mountain Lions have now won three straight and are winners of four of their last five games.
Against Western State, UCCS never led until when Maddie Gaibler hit a jumper with 7:18 remaining in the game. The Mountain Lions would then go on a 7-0 run late in the fourth quarter to solidify the lead.

Shanah Leaf scored in double digits for UCCS, scoring 13 points on a 6 of 7 night from the field.
Kelly O'Flannigan added eight points as four players chipped in six points as the team shot 32 percent from the field.
The win evens their conference record at 6-6 as they improve to 6-11 overall as they are back in action tomorrow night at home when they host Colorado Mesa at 5:30 p.m.
