PUEBLO, Colo. – After 110 minutes, the University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's soccer team played to a scoreless draw on the road against CSU-Pueblo in a Steel & Silver rivalry game.
Jake McAllister led the Mountain Lions with two shots on goal as fellow senior
Blake Barnes added another shot on goal for the visitors.
In goal,
David Meyer recorded seven saves which was just one off his season-high eight saves.
UCCS were outshot in the game 15 to 7, but edged the Thunderwolves in corner kicks 11 to 7.
The result puts the Mountain Lions at 2-5-2 overall and 2-1-2 in the RMAC. UCCS is back in action on Sunday when they travel to take on Fort Lewis at 2:30 p.m.
