DURANGO, Colo. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's lacrosse team an RMAC road game to Fort Lewis, 19-0, on Thursday.
The Mountain Lions were held scoreless for the first time this season as
Brianna Martinez and
Vanessa Nelson each led UCCS with three shots on goal. Nelson added three draw controls as the duo each notched one caused turnover.
Fort Lewis was led by Nikki Fry's five points (2 goals, 3 assists) as a total of nine players scored for the Skyhawks.
UCCS is back in action on Saturday when they visit Adams State for a game scheduled for 12 p.m.
