COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's basketball team fell at home to Regis on Saturday night, 47-42, in RMAC action.
The Mountain Lions were led by Kelly O'Flannigan and
Shanah Leaf as the duo each scored a game-high 13 points as O'Flannigan went 4 of 5 from the field while doing the same at the free-throw line. Leaf was 6 of 14 from the field while hauling in eight rebounds.
UCCS trailed 40-39 with 3:03 left in the game when O'Flannigan made a layup, but that was as close as they would get as the visiting Rangers outscored the Mountain Lions 7 to 3 down the stretch to seal the road win.

As a team, UCCS shot 34.6 percent from the field, but struggled from beyond the arc as they made just 2 of 12 from long range.
Regis' Mary Sigler and Shelby Espinosa each scored 10 points in the win for the Rangers.
The loss puts UCCS at 1-8 overall and 1-3 in the RMAC as they hit the road next Saturday when they take on Colorado Christian at 1 p.m.
