RAPID CITY, S.D. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's basketball team fell on the road Saturday afternoon to South Dakota Mines, 65-38.
Freshman guard Abby Feickert led the Mountain Lions with a nine-point effort by scoring all of her points from beyond the arc. The newcomer went 3 of 6 from the three-point line while adding a pair of rebounds and an assist for UCCS.
Madi Gaibler added nine points after going 4 of 10 from the field and 1 of 2 at the line.
The Hardrockers (5-2, 1-1 RMAC) were led by Anna Haugen's 15 points and 20 rebounds.
UCCS (0-7, 0-2 RMAC) returns home next Friday when they host Chadron State inside Gallogly Events Center at 5:30 p.m.
