WAYNE, Neb. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's basketball team fell 74-51 on the road to Wayne State in their final non-conference game of the season.
The Mountain Lions were led by
Shanah Leaf's 11 points as the team shot 36.7 percent from the field.
Leaf hit 4 of 8 from the field while making 3 of 5 at the free throw line for UCCS.
Maddie Golla added nine points as Tatum Tellin notched five rebounds while adding six assists and five points.
UCCS forced 16 Wildcat turnovers while turning the ball over just 14 times.
The Mountain Lions slipped to 0-5 as they continue their road trip when they open their RMAC schedule at Black Hills State on Friday, Dec. 2 at 5:30 p.m.
