TAOS, N.M. – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's soccer team picked up a 5-2 road win against New Mexico Highlands on Thursday as four players scored for the Mountain Lions.
After going up 1-0 with an own goal less than six minutes into the game,
Tori Maydew added UCCS' second goal five minutes later.
Patterson scored her sixth goal of the season in the 46
th minute for UCCS.
Anna Gregg and
Tori Maydew also scored as Gregg added the assist on Patterson's goal as she now ranks second on the team in assists.
Taylor Proctor picked up the win with four saves as UCCS outshot the Cowgirls 30 to 12.
With the win, the Mountain Lions improve to 11-4-0 overall and 9-2-0 in the RMAC as they wrap up the regular season this Saturday at CSU-Pueblo. Game time is scheduled for 11 a.m.
