SALT LAKE CITY – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's soccer team suffered a 6-0 setback on the road Sunday afternoon at Westminster in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference match-up.
The Griffins' Madison Roemer earned the hat trick as she scored in the 13
th, 21
st, and 56
th minutes as Westminster improved to 6-1 overall and 3-0 in RMAC action.
For UCCS,
Grace Ramsden and
Dorothy Bertoncin combined to make nine saves as the duo split time in goal.
Offensively, eight players recorded a shot for the Mountain Lions who slipped to 1-6 overall and 1-2 in the RMAC.
The team returns home to take on Fort Lewis this Friday, Sep. 30 at 7 p.m. at Mountain Lion Stadium.
