Fonseca Strikes Out 12 in Final Day of Desert Stinger

LAS VEGAS - Dani Fonseca struck out 12 batters in the first game of the day against Montana State-Billings and Makenna Smith hit her first home run of the season in the second game against Stanislaus State as the University of Colorado Colorado Springs dropped both games on the final day of the Desert Stinger Classic. The Mountain Lions (3-2) lost in a 4-0 game to the Yellow Jackets in the first game and a 6-5 game to the Warriors.
