COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. ā Following a narrow 1-0 win over Fort Lewis in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournament first-round on Friday, the University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's soccer team will face Regis in the semifinals on Friday at Colorado Mesa in Grand Junction.

Having played twice this season, the two teams split the series with the road team winning on both occasions. On Oct. 7, the Mountain Lions edged the then No. 5-ranked Rangers, 4-3, in Denver. A week later, it was Regis coming out on top with a 1-0 win in Colorado Springs.

UCCS are the third-seeds in the conference tournament as Regis earned the two-seed, giving them a first-round bye.

SCOUTING UCCS (12-6-1)
With their win on Wednesday against the Skyhawks, UCCS have now won five of their last six games. Four of their wins have been shutouts.
By scoring the lone goal against Fort Lewis,
Jake McAllister now leads the team with 15 points (6 goals, 3 assists).
In all, a total of 10 players have scored for the Mountain Lions this season and 17 players have earned a point.
In goal,
David Meyer managed to set the new program record for shutouts in a season as he earned his 10
th clean sheet. The junior comes into Friday's game with a .819 saves percentage while allowing a paltry 0.80 goals per game.
SCOUTING REGIS (13-3-1)
The Rangers are coming off a dominating 5-2 win at home against Westminster in their regular season finale that saw Sawyer Lincoln score a hat-trick. The three goals puts Lincoln second on the team in goals and third overall in points.
Both Noah Chapleski and Tom Grimley lead the No. 23-ranked Rangers with 17 points. Grimley is the leading goal scorer with eight on the year as Chapelski tops the team with seven assists.
Regis has split their goalkeepers this season as Chase Webert has made 10 starts while Ciaran Gibson has made seven. Combined, the duo hold a .792 saves percentage and allow 0.91 goals per game. Both have earned three shutouts.
