DENVER – The University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's soccer team fell on the road Friday evening to MSU Denver, 7-0, in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action.
The home standing Roadrunners shot out to a 1-0 lead just 10 seconds into the game, when Elise Boisnard found the back of the net on a through ball shot.
MSU Denver was led by Gricelda Gomez, who earned a hat-trick with goals in 6

th minutes.
For UCCS,
Bethany Leliefeld paced the team with five total shots, placing three on goal. Teammate
Ann Odom also totaled three shots on goal while putting up four shots in all.
The Roadrunners held the advantage in total shots (22 to 16) and shots on goal (13 to 6).
Grace Ramsden took the loss with six saves for the Mountain Lions, who slipped to 2-10-1 overall and 2-6-1 in the conference.
UCCS is back in action Sunday when they visit Regis for a 12 p.m. showdown.
