Derrick White recorded his sixth points-rebounds double-double of the season with a team-high 16 points and 13 rebounds to lead the No. 20 Mountain Lions (22-4 / 16-4 RMAC) to a 77-67 victory against Black Hills State (7-17 / 6-14 RMAC) tonight in the Gallogly Events Center. UCCS set the single-season victories record with tonight's win.
White was one of four Mountain Lions to finish in double figures, with
Alex Welsh's 15 points,
Darius Pardner's 14 points and
TreShawn Wilford's 10 points. Pardner needs two more points to become the ninth Mountain Lion with 1,000 career points.
