UCCS Falls to Newman to Close Out Opening Weekend

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Shanah Leaf scored 16 points off the bench to match the performance from Brittany Hernandez, but the University of Colorado Colorado Springs ended on the short end of a 71-64 decision to Newman today in the Gallogly Events Center. Jen Vigil added another 12 points for the Mountain Lions (1-1).
