Box Score COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The No. 14 University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's basketball team extended its winning streak to six games in an 85-58 victory tonight against MSU Denver (4-2 / 1-1 RMAC). Abby Kirchoff led both teams with 26 points.

The Roadrunners scored on its first two possessions of the game to take a 4-0 lead before the Mountain Lions responded with an 11-2 run. UCCS built on that to take a 32-20 lead at halftime and led by at least eight points for the duration of the second half. The Mountain Lions shot 53 percent from the field in the second half and held MSU Denver to eight percent at the three-point line for the game.

Kirchoff went a perfect eight-of-eight at the free throw line with a game-high four steals on defense. Brittany Hernandez scored 23 points with 10-of-16 from the field. Hernandez and Kirchoff were part of a balanced rebounding effort that saw four Mountain Lions finish with five or more boards.

The Mountain Lions will conclude a six-game home stretch on Saturday night against Regis. The Rangers (4-2 / 0-2 RMAC) fell to Colorado State-Pueblo 56-60 tonight.
