Adam Liszewski notched his first career shutout as the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs defeated the Missouri Southern Lions 2-0 Sunday at Hal Bodon Field.
It was the 13th career appearance for Liszewski (2-2), a sophomore from Mesa, Ariz. He made two saves and faced seven shots overall.
Greg Miley gave the Mountain Lions (2-2) the lead four minutes into the match. The speedy junior from London, England, has scored two of his team's four goals this season.
UCCS held that lead until the 72nd minute, when
Jordan Dahlinger put in his first goal as a Mountain Lion. The sophomore scored four goals for Doane a season ago before transferring to UCCS.
Jon Hansen made five saves in taking the loss for Missouri Southern (0-5).
