Brian Law scored twice to lead the Colorado School of Mines Orediggers to a 3-0 win over the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Sunday afternoon at Golden.
Mines (7-3-1, 5-2 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference) swept the season series against the Mountain Lions (4-7-1, 2-5-1 RMAC), outscoring UCCS 8-0.
Law opened the scoring in the seventh minute when he knocked in a Grant Manthey corner kick.
The Orediggers made it 2-0 in the 17th minute on Craig Thompsonâ€TMs sixth goal of the season. A shot by Travis Hutchinson hit the goal post and bounded to Thompson, who drilled it past UCCS goalkeeper
