Laurie Dressel had a game-high 15 kills and the Fort Lewis Skyhawks had 10 service aces in completing a season sweep of the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Mountain Lions with a 3-0 victory Saturday night at the Lions' Den.
Jessica Hollingshead had 16 digs for CU-Colorado Springs (5-22, 3-15 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference).
Caroline Ottino had a team-high 13 kills, but also committed five of the Mountain Lions' 13 hitting errors in the third game, during which CU-Colorado Springs hit a dismal -.073.
Libero Maureen Bryan had 16 digs for Fort Lewis (8-17, 3-14 RMAC), which has now beaten CU-Colorado Springs three times this season - twice in league play. Moreen Baylis added five aces for the Skyhawks and was serving when Fort Lewis reeled off a nine-point run that put Game 3 out of reach at 14-5.
