Bates won the Seventh Annual Rust Buster in her Mountain Lion debut with 14:44 on the four-kilometer course to lead UCCS to a 22-point victory … she won by a 25-second margin against the nearest college competitor … her time ranks No. 11 among the fastest Rust Buster times
