William Mayhew ran an NCAA Division II provisional qualifying mark in the 800-meter run at the Colorado School of Mines Nature's Bakery Invitational on Saturday. His ran 1 minute, 51.13 seconds, and his qualifying altitude-adjusted time 1:50.32 is No. 10 in the Division II performance lists this season. He has the fourth-fastest time in the RMAC.

Mayhew was a Second Team All-American in the event at the indoor national championships in March.
