Kayla Wooten ran the second-fastest time in Division II for a freshman and the 11th-fastest overall with 4 minutes, 27.11 seconds at the Beach Invitational on Saturday. She has the fourth-fastest time in the conference this season. Wooten was an All-American during the indoor season in the mile run.
