Till won her first race as a Mountain Lion with 14 minutes, 53, on the four-kilometer course at the 2016 Rust Buster. She finished five seconds ahead of two-time defending Rust Buster champion and teammate Heather Bates, as the two separated themselves from the runners early in the race.
