Nick Emanuel

Nick Emanuel joined the UCCS baseball program in July 2026 as the program's first full time assistant coach.

Emanuel joined the University of Mary baseball staff as an assistant coach in July 2025, bringing four seasons of collegiate coaching experience along with professional playing experience and a successful season in the Northwoods League. In addition to his role with the Marauders, Emanuel served as the Coordinator of Athletics Facilities.

Prior to arriving at UMary, Emanuel spent the 2024-25 season as an assistant coach at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire after beginning his collegiate coaching career at the University of Wisconsin-Superior, where he served on staff from 2021-24. During the summer of 2024, he was the hitting, catching and third base coach for the La Crosse Loggers of the Northwoods League, helping guide the club to a Great Plains Division championship while setting team records for runs scored and stolen bases.

A native of Esko, Minnesota, Emanuel played professionally with the Great Falls Voyagers of the MLB Partner Pioneer League from 2021-23. During his professional career, he posted a .284 batting average with a .441 on-base percentage in 2021 before improving to a .307 batting average in 2022.

Before beginning his professional career, Emanuel was a standout catcher at NCAA Division I North Dakota State University from 2017-21. He graduated as the Bison's career leader in fielding percentage (.995), served as team captain during his senior season, helped lead NDSU to the 2021 Summit League Championship and NCAA Regional appearance, and earned Summit League All-Tournament Team honors.

Emanuel earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Communication from North Dakota State in 2021 with minors in Business Administration and Sociology, along with certificates in Professional Selling and Coaching.
