Antonio Nash joined the University of Colorado Colorado Springs Athletic Medicine team on July 1, 2026, and will primarily oversee volleyball and softball.
Nash joins the Mountain Lions after serving as Head Athletic Trainer at Otero College since 2018, where he oversaw sports medicine operations for 11 NJCAA programs. In that role, he managed injury prevention, evaluation, rehabilitation, concussion protocols, and return-to-play decisions while coordinating care with physicians and orthopedic specialists.
In addition to his athletic training responsibilities at Otero College, Nash served as the institution's Game Day Operations Manager, coordinating postseason events, supporting NJCAA compliance efforts, managing event operations, and overseeing game day personnel.
Prior to Otero College, Nash worked as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Pueblo West High School and gained experience as an athletic training student at Colorado State University Pueblo, assisting with the care of 14 NCAA Division II athletic programs.
Nash earned a Master of Science in Sports Administration from Adams State University in 2023, graduating magna cum laude with a 3.97 GPA. He received his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Colorado State Pueblo in 2017.
A certified member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association since 2017, Nash is a licensed athletic trainer in Colorado and holds Board of Certification (BOC) credentials, along with CPR/AED certification through the American Heart Association.
