After spending the 2023 season as a volunteer assistant coach for the University of Colorado Colorado Springs volleyball team, Abbie Harry was named the full-time assistant coach in December 2023.
 
Harry joined the Mountain Lion program in 2023 as a volunteer assistant coach. A Lead Trainer and Coach since May 2023 for the Colorado Juniors Volleyball Club, Harry came to UCCS from Conway, Ark. where she was the Assistant Club Director, Lead Trainer and Tournament Director at Conway Juniors for two years in 2021-23.  While at Conway Juniors, Harry was at the helm of the CJV's 17 National team, leading them to the Girls Junior Nationals in 20222.  Selected as an American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Thirty Under 30 honoree in June 2023, Harry also developed the CJV's Beach Volleyball program.
 
Prior to spending 2021-23 with the Conway Juniors Volleyball Club, Harry played professional volleyball in Inssbruck, Austria for the VC-Tirol program from Nov. 2020-April 2021.
 
An all-conference volleyball student-athlete at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Ark., Harry played for the Bears from 2016-19.  In four years, the 6-foot-0 outside hitter saw action in 281 sets across 93 matches, accounting for 2.86 kills per set and hitting the ball at a .187 clip while adding 89 blocks.  In 2019 as a senior and team captain, the Frederick, Md. native tallied 3.7 kills per set on 1,270 attempts and contributed 32 aces, 222 digs and 40 blocks.  As a sophomore in 2017, Harry was part of a Bears program that won the Southland Conference tournament and earned a bid to the NCAA tournament.
 
Harry, who received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition from UCA, will take over as assistant volleyball coach in January 2024.
