Cherise Endres joined the Athletic Medicine department in January 2019. She primarily oversees women's lacrosse and women's soccer.
In November 2022, Endres was promoted to Senior Athletic Trainer, and she was named the UCCS Employee of the Quarter in April 2023.
Endres joins the staff from Hannibal-LaGrange University, located in Hannibal, Mo., where she has served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for the past four years for the 14-team Trojans athletic program. At HLGU, Endres was the primary athletic trainer for women's basketball, women's soccer, volleyball, cross country, track and field and softball. As an Adjunct Faculty member, she taught First Aid and CPR/AED courses for the university.
In 2013, Endres held the role as an athletic trainer for Athletes in Action Sports Performance. She provided athletic training coverage for youth sports, collegiate club baseball teams and post-college basketball teams. Her experience also includes covering college teams that traveled to Israel, France, Spain and Brazil. She continues to serve as an athletic trainer with Athletes in Action during their summer camps.
From Littleton, Colo. and a product of Front Range Christian High School, Endres is a Board Certified Athletic Trainer and holds an American Heart Association - Basic Life Support (AMA BLS) CPR/AED and First Aid instructor and provider certifications.
Endres received her Master of Science degree in Athletic Training from Western Michigan University in 2013. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training in 2011 from Southwest Baptist University.
