UCCS Athletics

Smith joins the UCCS staff as a graduate assistant coach following her collegiate playing career. As starting goalkeeper during the Mountain Lion’s 2018 campaign, Smith was named RMAC Goalkeeper of the Year and United Soccer Coaches First Team All-South Central Region. Prior to UCCS, Smith played two seasons for Virginia Tech, and one season for the University of Washington. At Virginia Tech, Smith was ranked second in school history in career goals against average, reaching the Sweet 16 her freshman year, and round of 32 her sophomore year.

Smith has coached for Pride Soccer Club and Sereno Soccer Club at the youth level and has experience as a personal goalkeeper coach for goalkeepers ages 6-18. 

Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and is currently obtaining a Master of Arts in Counseling and Human Services from UCCS.
