Cole Ouren will serve as a volunteer assistant coach for the women’s program in 2018.
A native of Yukon, Okla., Ouren played for the Edmond Royals and Yukon High School. He went on to play at Central Christian College of Kansas (NAIA), PCSL (Canada) with the Frasier Valley Action, CSC Calvary and Colorado Blizzard in the PASL.
Following graduation, Ouren became an assistant coach at Central Christian College of Kansas and later became the head coach for two years.
Since moving to Colorado Springs in 2012, Ouren has worked with both the boys and girls programs at Pride Soccer Club, U9-18. He has served on staff with several teams in Region IV events in addition to being an assistant and head coach with the older women’s teams. Ouren is currently serving as the U9-10 Boys Director of Coaching at Pride and a US Development Academy coach.
Ouren graduated from Central Christian College of Kansas in 2007 with a degree in Liberal Arts and a minor in Youth Ministry. He has also received a Masters of Education in Sports Management and Leadership from North Central University (Arizona).
Ouren holds his NSCCA Advanced National and USSF “B” license. Cole is married to Sarah Ouren. They have 3 children, Wyatt, Annie and Hattie.
