2008: Was named first team all-RMAC. Was named RMAC defensive player of the week for the week of September 1, 2008 after she recorded shutouts in each of the Mountain Lions first two matches. Kern made one save in a 3-0 victory over Southwest Minnesota State. She came back the following day to get four saves in a 1-0 win over the University of Mary. Kern was once again named with this honor for the week of September 8, 2008 after she made nine saves to hold nationally-ranked Minnesota State, Mankato scoreless over 110 minutes (90 minutes in regulation and two 10-minute overtime periods) in the Mountain Lions' only match of the week. She won defencive player of the week one more time and even recorded one assist in the season.

2007: (at George Washington) Started all 18 matches, leading the team to an 8-9-1 record ... was second in the Atlantic 10 Conference in saves (115) and saves per game (6.39) ... recorded five shutouts, good for fourth in the conference ... posted a 1.63 goals against average and a .793 save percentage ... team tri-captain, vermont bank touranment defensive MVP and all-tournament team ... George Mason all-touranment team and team MVP. 

2006: (at George Washington) Started all 19 matches, compiling a 9-10-0 record while playing all but 12:06 minutes ... recorded a shutout in three of the first four games of the season ... named Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the Week (9/5) ... named to the Thundering Herd Nike Invitational All-Tournament Team ... fourth in the A-10 in saves (94), tied for fourth in save percentage (.770), sixth in GAA (1.45) and tied for sixth with three shutouts ... recorded a career-high 10 saves in the match against Dayton (10/20). 

2005: (at George Washington) Appeared in first collegiate match versus Saint Francis (Penn.) ... preserved shutout victory against the Red Flash, playing final 14:24 ... played in seven games as a walk-on to the women's basketball team. 

2004: (at George Washington) Did not see any action in goal ... red shirted. 

High School: Compiled a career record of 71-19-2 and notched 46 shutouts at Stroudsburg HS ... posted an 0.68 GAA in 22 games as a senior ... helped guide the team to two divisional championships and the District XI final ... four-time All-Mountain Valley Conference honoree ... first-team all-area and Lehigh Valley honorable mention selection as a junior ... also honored as the Channel 13 Female Athlete of the Week as a junior ... league MVP, area Player of the Year, and an All-State selection as a senior ... also served as team captain ... Lehigh Valley and Mountain Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete nominee ... selected as Stroudsburg's Female Athlete of the Year as a senior ... played for the Stroudsburg United Soccer Club for two years ... member of Bethlehem United and the West End Soccer Club for one year each ... also competed in cross country and basketball.
