A native to New Jersey, Greitzer enters her first year as Team Dietitian and Volunteer Assistant Coach for the University of Colorado Colorado Springs women’s cross-country team.

Greitzer came to UCCS to complete her Master of Science degree in sports nutrition in 2018 at which time she competed for UCC’s cross-country and track team in the 5,000 and 10,000m events. During her time on the team she competed at DII cross-country nationals and was part of the spring track conference championship team. After her time competing for UCCS, Greitzer ran in the Dallas Marathon, her debut marathon, at which she won 1st place.

 Throughout her time in graduate school, Greitzer worked as a Sports Nutrition Intern at US Air Force Academy as well as a Graduate Assistant at Sustainable Wellness Learning (SWELL).

Greitzer received her Master of Science degree in Sports Nutrition from UCCS in 2020. She completed her dietetic internship at Lenoir-Rhyne University in 2016 and became a Registered Dietitian later that year. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition in 2015 from Indiana University
