Before UCCS: Named first-team all-Seamount League as a senior ... blocked a shootout attempt in overtime to lead his Kennedy HS team to a 3-2 win over Mercer Island in the 2008 Washington Class 3A semifinals ... Lancers were beaten by Camas in the championship game despite Miller's seven saves ... also made a shootout save to lift Kennedy past Eastmont in an earlier playoff game ... made a diving save with two minutes remaining in the same match to force overtime ... earned first-team all-league.
