2011: Named second-team All-RMAC and first-team Academic All-RMAC ... played in 10 games with eight starts ... he is third on the team this season with a recorded five goals with 10 points in the season. 

2010: Won the 2010-11 UCCS McLaughlin Award for excellence in athletics, academics and citizenship ... set a new personal best with nine goals and 23 points ... previous high had been eight goals, which he did in both his freshman and sophomore years ... set a new UCCS single-match record with three assists against Colorado Christian on Oct. 31, breaking the previous standard of two, which had been done 26 times ... named second-team All-RMAC ... named first-team academic All-RMAC ... had a hat trick plus an assist against Adams State on Oct. 8 ... had two goals in the season opener against Colorado College on Sept. 2 ... had another two-goal match on Oct. 24 against Adams State ... goes into his senior season ranked fourth all-time in goals scored (25), second in assists (14) and third in points (64) ... was eighth in the RMAC in points per game with 1.28. 

2009: Was chosen second-team All-Central region by Daktronics ... was also second-team All-RMAC ... named first-team Academic All-RMAC ... had eight goals and five assists for 21 points, all of which led the Mountain Lions ... ranked ninth in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference in goals, 10th in points and 11th in assists ... after just two seasons at UCCS, Friesen is already eighth in the school's career record book in points (41), ninth in goals (16) and 11th in assists (nine) ... scored two goals against Colorado State-Pueblo on Sept. 25 ... repeated the feat against Colorado Christian on Oct. 9 ... had a season-best two assists against Colorado Christian on Oct. 25 ... put 44.6 percent of shot attempts on goal and 14.3 percent found the net 

2008: Was named third-team all-RMAC ... played in 18 games with 12 starts as a freshman ... led the team in points (20) and goals (8) ... tied for first on the team in assists with four and tied for seventh in the RMAC in points ... Friesen was sixth in the RMAC in goals and was tied for 10th in the RMAC in assists ... had a career-high three goals and tied his career-high two assists against Colorado Christian on Oct. 31 ... on Sept. 19 he had two goals against Metro State and had two assists against Colorado Christian on Oct. 5

Before UCCS: Was named first-team Colorado Springs 5A all-Metro League in 2007 and 2008 ... was named second team all-state in 2008 ... in senior year at Rampart HS, recorded 27 goals and two assists ... tied career-high four goals on two separate occasions ... on Sept. 11, 2007 had four goals and one assist against Thomas Jefferson ... junior year had 10 goals and one assist ... Sept. 8, 2006, against Kennedy, had four goals ... had nine goals and one assist sophomore year ... in 2008 was the second leading scorer in Colorado ... was named offensive player of the year from 2006-2008 ... helped take team to it's first playoff appearance in ten years and led the team to a second place finish at the regional tournament

Personal: Majoring in Sports Management ... parents are Patti and Warren Friesen and has two sisters, Rachel and Bekah ... is the brother-in-law of UCCS asst. athletic director/finance Nathan Gibson ... enjoys hiking and playing frisbee ... in 2008 he was high school's student body president ... was on honor roll all four years of high school
