Personal: in addition to the normal class schedule and being selected to the honor roll 2 of the 4 years, I completed the "Project Lead the Way" program (4 years) which focused on engineering as a career choice. ... born in Sarasota, Fla., and moved to Colorado Springs in 1993. ... spent two weeks in each of the past four summers in Bolivia with Love in Action International Ministries, helping build an orphanage ... says that experience has "expanded my world view and given me a greater understanding of what challenges people face in other parts of the world."
