2011: Redshirt season

Before UCCS: Named co-player of the year for New Mexico Class AAAA, District 5 in each of his final three seasons at Albuquerque Academy ... three-time all-state honorable mention selection ... first-team all-district section as a senior ... had four goals and two assists in 2010 ... had one goal and three assists as a junior ... numbers were one goal and one assist as a sophomore and as a freshman ... anchored an Albuquerque Academy defense that allowed just 1.25 goals per game in 2010, including five shutouts ... team went 14-7 overall and 6-2 in district play.

Personal: Majoring in Sport Management ... parents are Guy and Betsy Donovan ... one sibling, James Donovan ... graduated high school with a 4.2 GPA ... enjoys soccer, snowboarding and golf.
