Jordan Schweitzer joined the UCCS coaching staff prior to the 2018 fall season as a Volunteer Assistant Coach. Prior to joining the UCCS staff, he was the Scout/Video Analyst for the University of Central Florida during the fall of 2017.

The Knights were 8-6-2 in 2017 and went on a seven game win streak to make the American Conference Championships, eventually losing in overtime to SMU. 

A current professional, he signed as a homegrown with Seattle Sounders in 2016 and played that season in the USL with Seattle Sounders 2.  Schweitzer spent the 2017 season in Orlando with Orlando City B in the USL and the 2018 USL season with the Colorado Springs Switchbacks. He has represented Canada at the U23 level and was called into a camp with the Canadian MNT in 2017 for the friendly against El Salvador.  

Schweitzer was a four-year starter as defensive midfielder at University of Denver from 2012-15.  A three-time all-conference first team selection, he was also named first team all-West region and all-Summit League as a senior in 2015 and earned a spot on the Summit League all-tournament team.  Schweitzer was a co-captain and played just in front of a defense that posted a 0.40 goals-against-average.  He was named honorable mention all-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation as a freshman in 2012, starting 17 of Denver’s 20 matches.

Schweitzer received his Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from the University of Denver.
