Kyle Cabs is in his second season as a Graduate Assistant Coach with the UCCS Men’s Basketball team.
Prior to joining the staff, Kyle spent four seasons as a player with the Mountain Lions with his playing stats listed below:
2023-24: Appeared in 15 games… Averaged 2.0 points per games on 30.8% shooting from the field… Hauled in 28 rebounds… Tallied three steals and four blocks… Had a season best 10 points in a win over Navajo Tech on November 24th.
2022-23: Competed in five games with one start… Averaged 5.6 points and 2.8 rebounds per game… Shot 55.6% from the field and 87.5% at the free throw line… Scored a season-high 14 points on November 19th in a win over Spurgeon College.
2021-22: Did not play

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Graduated from Laramie County Community College in 2020 with an Associates degree in Social Studies ... Averaged 7.6 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game ... Graduated with Distinction honors ... Named to the President's Honor Roll ... NJCAA All-Academic Third Team.
HIGH SCHOOL: 2018 graduate of Smoky Hill High School ... Played at Valor Christian his freshman year (2014-15) ... Helped Smoky Hill HS qualify for Sweet 16 in 2017 and to the Elite 8 in 2018 ... Named to the Honor Roll three times ... 2018 Citizenship Award.
