Jakob Jerebko joins the University of Colorado Colorado Springs Men’s Basketball program ahead of the 2023-2024 season. Jerebko arrives in the Springs after spending last season at Brockport College, State University of New York, (SUNY) where he served as the Student Assistant for the Men’s Basketball program. In his role, Jerebko worked with team members on skill development, providing pre-game instruction, assisted with team development and strategy, and helped with film breakdown for both individual players and the team.
Before his time at SUNY Brockport, Jerebko spent time as a Seasonal Basketball Counselor in the greater Buffalo area. In this position Jerebko earned experience coaching youth players aged 8-16 years of age. He aided the groups through team management, and game scheduling. He also took part in the supervision of both team and individual performance, providing feedback and direction with emphasis on players’ development.
Prior to coaching, Jerebko was a player on the SUNY Brockport Men’s Basketball team from 2020-2022. He graduated from SUNY Brockport with his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education.
