Alex Bunker has been a member of the UCCS Men’s Basketball program since 2020 when he joined the staff as the Head Manager. He served in that role for two seasons before being elevated to the Graduate Assistant Coaching position ahead of the 2022-23 season, a role he will be serving in for his second season this winter.
Bunker graduated from UCCS in 2022 with his B.S. in Sport Management, and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management. Bunker is also serving as a Graduate Assistant in the UCCS Sports Information office where he will be assisting with asset management for all UCCS programs, as well as various gameday responsibilities throughout the year.
Outside of UCCS, Bunker is a member of the coaching staff at Lewis-Palmer High School in Monument, Colo. where he serves as an Assistant Coach for the Junior Varsity Girl’s Basketball Program.
Before bringing his expertise to Colorado Springs, Bunker grew up in Fort Collins, Colo. where he graduated from Fort Collins High School in 2018. He was a member of the Boy’s Basketball program at FCHS and was tabbed as the team captain during his senior season.
