2017 Women's Soccer Postseason Selection Information

RMAC RMAC Tournament: The top eight teams from the regular season advance to the RMAC Tournament. The higher seed in each quarterfinal matchup will host the quarterfinal game. The highest remaining seed after the quarterfinals will host the semifinal and championship rounds, even if the host loses in the semifinal round.
NCAA NCAA Tournament: The RMAC Tournament champion will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Division II women's soccer tournament. The NCAA will accept six total teams to the national tournament from the South Central Region, which will include the conference tournament champions from the RMAC, Lone Star Conference and Heartland Conference, which allows for three at-large bids. The selection show will take place on Nov. 6.

The top two teams from the region will receive a bye into the Second Round. The No. 1 seed will host the First Round game for the No. 4 and No. 5 teams, while the No. 2 seed will host the game between the No. 3 and No. 6 teams. The top remaining seed from the West Region will host the Third Round and quarterfinal games, even if the host team loses in the Third Round.

As part of NCAA Division II's regionalization philosophy, only games against regional opponents count in the postseason selection. For UCCS, that includes any teams in the South Central Region, in a neighboring state, and from the West Region.
