IAAC Minutes - Sept. 28, 2016
Jared Verner - Associate Athletic Director for Sports Information and External Relations
- IAAC met for the first time this semester on September 28, 2016. The committee was introduced to Nate Gibson, our new Athletic Director.
- Director Gibson gave an update on the state of the Athletic Department that included changes in the Athletic Department as well as potential new facilities.
- Director Gibson and the Athletic Dept. developed a Policy and Procedure Manual and asked IAAC members for input on the manual
- The Student-Athletic Advisory Committee is getting organized for the annual Boozar
- The Student Government Representatives reported on the Spring student vote to increase athletic fees which passed
- A meeting schedule has been sent out to committee members to set the meeting dates for the rest of the semester
