The IAAC Committee met on December 1, 2013. The general discussion involved the revision of the exit survey given to senior student athletes for feedback and evaluation of the athletic experience at UCCS. Mary Ann Kluge will take the information that was discussed and edit the survey for distribution to senior student athletes. Reports were given by Steve Kirkham, Athletic Director, as well as updates from the Student athlete advisory committee. The committee also discussed having the Men and Women’s basketball team select a faculty and/or staff member to be the IAAC coach of the week for the CSU-Pueblo. These games will be held in the Colorado Springs city auditorium February 8, 2014.
Lastly the committee encourages all faculty to attend upcoming athletic events and to join the Mountain Lion Athletic Club that supports all the sports at UCCS.
The committee will resume meetings in the Spring 2014 semester.
