Announcements
1. Introduction of New Members	Introduced Student Government Representative John Ferko, Senator at large who was in attendance. Other SGA representatives have contacted the chair and will be in attendance for future meetings and include Jacob Hopkins-SGA Speaker of the house and Robin Done-SGA Senator of Nursing	Information only. 2. Athletic Director Report	Director Kirkham reported that UCCS Athletics Department is bringing 2 new sports and expanding another sport to campus starting in Fall 2016. The two new sports will be Women’s Lacrosse and Baseball and Track and Field will expand to a full track in field team including the throwing and jumping sports. A new Track and Field coach has been hired and the other coach’s will be hired either later this semester or early next year. Director Kirkham estimated 150 students who likely otherwise would not attend UCCS will participate in the new programs.	Information only	S. Kirkham
3. FAR Report	The FAR reported that there has been no new activity since last Spring and that they are in the process of setting meetings for the Fall.	Information only	L. Austin-Eurich

5. SGA Report	An update on a proposed increase in the athletic fees for athletics was discussed and SGA strategy was discussed. SGA is supportive of the increase and stated that students had discussed with administration about adding more spectator sports to the University.	SGA	SGA Representatives
