2003: Started two games at goalie and was splendid in both … In his first start of the season he had seven saves as he shut out Colorado Mines on Oct. 28 … Three days later, he got his second win, saving four shots in the Mountain Lions 2-1 double-overtime win over Colorado Christian … Finished 2-0 with a 0.79 goals-against average … Also saw action in two games as a position player, tallying one shot on goal.

2002: Played in seven games at goalkeeper for the Mountain Lions, posting a 1-5 record with a 2.99 goals-against average … Had his season end early when he suffered a broken jaw against New Mexico.

Before UCCS: Every major newspaper in Colorado named him first-team All-State goalkeeper in 2000 … Named his high school MVP while playing at Lewis-Palmer … Helped lead Lewis-Palmer to a State Championship and two second-place finishes.
