ST. GEORGE, Utah – University of Colorado Colorado Springs baseball team struggled to get the bats going Monday as the Mountain Lions dropped game four to the Dixie State University Trailblazers 10-2 at Bruce Hurst Field.
Dixie State out-hit the Mountain Lions 12-4 in the ballgame. UCCS tallied four hits on the afternoon with
Cody Norton going 2-for-4 from the five spot, as he went deep to left field twice in the ballgame for a two-run home run in the top of the seventh inning, and a solo home run in the ninth to give the Mountain Lions their three runs.
